At the heart of the platform is the HoleShot 2500X action, designed by Dan Killough. Known for its repeatable lockup and mechanical consistency, the dual-lug bolt geometry provides smooth cycling with unwavering reliability—critical in disciplines where consistency is measured in thousandths.

The rifle is chambered in .22 LR and anchored by a premium barrel from MullerWorks. Featuring a .920″ straight contour and a 1:16 twist rate, this barrel is optimized for stability and harmonic consistency across a wide range of match ammunition. The integration of a 20 MOA Picatinny rail ensures the shooter maintains usable elevation adjustment for extended rimfire distances without sacrificing optical clarity at closer ranges.

Trigger control is entrusted to the TriggerTech Diamond system—arguably one of the most refined triggers available in the precision shooting world. With an adjustable pull weight ranging from 4 to 32 ounces, it allows the shooter to tailor break characteristics with surgical precision, delivering a glass-rod release that minimizes disturbance at the moment of ignition.

The rifle is housed in a handcrafted walnut stock from Precision WoodCraft (PWC), purpose-built for the 2500X platform. This is not merely an aesthetic choice—the natural rigidity and damping characteristics of walnut provide a stable shooting interface while maintaining a timeless, understated elegance. The result is a stock that feels as deliberate as the shot it supports.

Optics are equally uncompromising. The system is topped with an Arken Optics EP-5 5–25×56 scope, offering exceptional magnification range and clarity for both positional and benchrest applications. Built on a robust 34mm tube with a first focal plane reticle, the illuminated VHR MIL system ensures precise holdovers and repeatable adjustments under varying lighting conditions. The optic is secured with a one-piece mount from Area 419, ensuring absolute rigidity and alignment integrity.
